1. What is yattapick

yattapick is a platform where people give away things to other people. The things are always free, both for the person giving and the person receiving. Zero money, just love.

yattapick provides the space where listings are published and users communicate. We are not party to any agreement between donors and recipients, we do not own the items, we do not see them, we do not control them, and we do not guarantee that they exist, that they work, that they are safe, or that they truly belong to whoever posted them. Every transaction is concluded directly between users.

2. Your account

One account per person is allowed. Profile information must be accurate and up to date. Login credentials are personal: whoever shares them is responsible for anything done with their account.

3. What you can post

You can only post items that you own, that are actually available, and that you are giving away for free. The description and photos must match the actual item, including its condition and any defects.

You cannot post: food and beverages; weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks; pornographic material; live animals; medicines, supplements, medical devices, narcotics; alcohol and tobacco; counterfeit items or those that infringe trademarks and copyrights; stolen or illegally obtained items; dangerous substances, asbestos, chemicals, hazardous waste; used car seats, helmets, and other safety devices whose history is unknown; appliances or electrical devices that are clearly unsafe; personal data of other people, documents, login credentials; services, work, requests for money, vouchers, cryptocurrencies, and anything else that the law prohibits transferring.

yattapick is for exchanges between individuals. It cannot be used for commercial activity, reselling, advertising products or services, collecting contacts, or sending promotional messages to other users. Asking for money, reimbursements, or compensation for a posted item is grounds for account closure.

4. Your photos and texts

The photos and texts you post remain yours.

By posting a listing, you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the photos and texts from that listing to display the listing on the site and to promote yattapick, including on our social media channels, in press communications, and in promotional materials. We may adapt them as needed for publication: cropping, resizing, changing format, and adding our logo. We do not sell them to third parties and do not use them to advertise other products.

The license lasts as long as the listing is published. When you delete a listing or your account, the license continues to apply only to material already published before deletion, which we may not be able to remove from channels where it has been published. You can still write to [email protected] to request removal of a specific publication: we will remove it from channels we control.

By posting, you declare that the photos are yours or that you have the right to use them, and that they do not depict people who have not consented.

5. Meetings and handovers

Item handovers take place in person, between users, outside the platform. You choose where and when to meet, and you do so at your own risk. We recommend public places and informing someone of where you're going. yattapick does not organize, accompany, or guarantee these meetings.

6. How to behave

• It is forbidden to publish illegal, dangerous items or items that infringe third-party rights
• Harassing other users or publishing offensive content is forbidden
• One account per person is allowed

You may not mass extract site content using automated programs, circumvent technical limits, overload the service, attempt to access restricted areas, or create accounts with false information to circumvent a suspension.

7. Reports and moderation

We may remove listings, messages, reviews and profiles that breach these terms or the law, and suspend or close the accounts responsible. Where possible we do so after a warning, but in cases of serious breaches, of risk to users or of an order from the authorities we act immediately.

Anyone can report content using the report button on listings and profiles, or by writing to [email protected]. We review reports in a reasonable timeframe and communicate the outcome to the person who reported it.

If we remove your content or restrict your account, we will tell you what we did and why. You can contest the decision by writing to [email protected]: we will review the case and respond to you. This does not affect your right to appeal to a court.

8. Our content

The yattapick name, logo, graphics, website text, and software are ours. You can use the service, not copy it.

9. Liability

The service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be reachable, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose, and we may suspend or change it for maintenance or for technical reasons.

We are not responsible for what users write, post, or do, for exchanged items, for what happens during meetings, or for indirect damages, data loss, or lost profits. We are not liable for interruptions due to causes beyond our control. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence, for bodily injury, or limits the rights that law grants to consumers.

If a third party makes a claim against us because of something you posted or did on yattapick, you will indemnify us from the expenses and damages that result.

10. Account Closure

You can close your account anytime from settings. We can close or suspend an account in case of violation of these terms, fraudulent use, or legal obligation. Upon closure, listings are removed; what we retain and for how long is described in the privacy policy.

11. Statistics, Communications, Assignment

We may publish aggregated and anonymized statistics on service use, for example how many items were given away in a city. These are numbers, not traceable to any person.

We write to your account email address for service-related communications: received messages, notices about your listings, important changes. These communications are part of the service. You decide which to receive and how from notification settings. Promotional communications are sent only to those who have given specific consent, which can be revoked at any time.

We may assign the contract to whoever takes over the management of the service. If this involves different treatment of your data, we will inform you beforehand, and you remain free to close your account.

12. Changes

We may change these terms at any time and at our discretion. The updated version is published on this page with the date of the change and, if it is a significant change, we notify registered users. By continuing to use yattapick after publication you accept the new version. If you do not accept it you can close your account at any time in the settings.

13. After Closure

The clauses on content license, liability, indemnification, applicable law, and jurisdiction remain valid even after account closure.

14. Applicable Law

Italian law applies. For consumers residing in the European Union, the protections of their country and the court of their place of residence remain in effect. For disputes, the European ODR platform is available: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
